Item 04 · Path Lighting

Finishing what we started.

The previous round of walkway lamps swapped the old pagoda-style bollards for modern frosted-lens fixtures on select paths. This order picks up where that program stopped — 50 more matching units to replace every remaining old bollard around the lake, along the pool deck approach, and on the back walkways. Once installed, the same path lamp runs the entire property without a single odd one out.

01 Before & After

Same lakeside spot
Existing The lakeside walkway today — a weathered three-tier pagoda-style black bollard, paint chipped and faded, standing on a black metal base in the turf next to the paver path with the lake and fountain behind.

Current state · lakeside pathOld pagoda-style three-tier bollard. Paint chipped, finish faded. Visible from the lake walk, the pool approach, and the back of the building. Same dated fixture in every spot where the upgrade hasn't reached yet.
Proposed Rendering of the new modern bollard at the same lakeside spot — a rectangular dark anthracite aluminum post with a tall frosted-glass lens panel emitting a warm, even glow, on a low metal mounting plate in the turf next to the paver path.

With the new fixtureSame spot, modern fixture. Rectangular dark anthracite post with a tall frosted-lens panel. Same model already installed on the upgraded sections of the property, so this run finishes the look.

02 On the walkways

Path-length view
View along a paver walkway curving toward the building with the lake on the right, two of the new dark frosted-lens bollards spaced along the path edge in the manicured turf, creating a uniform path-lighting rhythm.

Same fixture, repeated along the pathThe bollards sit at the turf edge of the paver walks, spaced for an even rhythm of soft downlight at ankle height. Same fixture as the upgraded sections — once these 50 land, the entire property reads as one continuous lighting program.

03 What it is

Product detail

Frosted-lens bollard, LED inside

Rectangular aluminum post with a tall frosted-glass panel on the front. The LED inside throws a soft, glare-free wash onto the path — you see the light, not the bulb.

  • Sealed LED engine — no bulbs to change
  • Warm white output, no harsh point sources
  • Solar or hard-wired electric versions available

Anthracite finish, IP65 rated

Dark anthracite powder coat on a die-cast aluminum body. IP65 means dust-tight and rated for direct rain and sprinkler spray. Same finish family as the pergola, garden lamps, and waste bins.

  • Marine-grade powder coat
  • Standard low base mount on existing turf edge
  • Engineered for South Florida humidity and salt air

04 Why it matters

Property impact

One fixture, end to end

Right now residents walk from a section with the new modern bollards into a section with the old pagoda ones. The mix looks unfinished. Fifty more units removes the last of the legacy fixtures and the path lighting becomes consistent in every direction.

Safer paths after dark

The old pagoda heads throw an uneven mottled light. The frosted-lens design pushes a wider even glow at ankle and shin height — which is where path hazards actually live. Better visibility for residents on evening walks and for the security cameras.
